Cork Band “Two Time Polka” were formed in 1994 and played their first performance on Cape Clear Island, County Cork. Having been stranded on the island for longer than planned due to stormy weather a close friendship and interest in playing good time music was cemented.
Since that memorable lost weekend the band have gone on to develop a reputation for turning out great live performances. Two Time Polkas music has gone down equally well with continental and UK audiences having done several tours and festivals such as the Clonakilty Old Time Fair to the prestigious Glastonbury, Galway Arts Festival, The Temple Bar Fleadh, The Bantry Mussel Fair, The Waterford Spraoi, The Cork Folk Festival, The Kilkenny Country Roots Festival and the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival.
